Since 1981, Hunton Trane has partnered with consulting engineers, contractors, owners, and developers to deliver HVAC systems that perform for the life of a building.
As the authorized Trane commercial sales office for Southeast Texas, we provide applied equipment, building controls, and engineering support for new construction and major renovation projects.
Our role extends well beyond equipment selection. We work alongside project teams from concept through startup, helping evaluate system options, coordinate design decisions, and support successful installation.
Every project begins with understanding the building’s goals. Our sales engineers collaborate with consulting engineers and design teams to compare system options, evaluate operating costs, and recommend solutions that fit the project’s performance, budget, and schedule.
Using engineering tools including TRACE® 3D, Trane® Design Assist™, myPLV®, Trane® Select Assist™, Trane®/Mitsubishi VRF Diamond System Builder, and myCO2e™, we develop detailed analyses of HVAC system performance, energy use, and life-cycle cost. These studies help project teams make informed decisions based on measurable data.
Once a system is selected, our engineers continue supporting the project through equipment selection, controls strategies, scheduling, pricing, startup coordination, and commissioning support.
Hunton Trane’s sales engineers complete Trane’s six-month Graduate Training Program in La Crosse, Wisconsin before supporting customers in the field. This technical foundation allows our team to work confidently with consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, and owners on projects ranging from commercial offices and healthcare facilities to education, manufacturing, industrial, and mission-critical environments.
Our engineers speak the language of buildings. Whether discussing centrifugal chillers, air handlers, VAV systems, VRF applications, or building automation strategies, we focus on practical solutions supported by engineering data.
Sustainable design is part of many projects we support. Hunton Trane has 13 LEED Accredited Professionals (AP) who assist project teams pursuing LEED certification and other sustainability objectives.
Our approach balances energy efficiency, occupant comfort, maintainability, and long-term operating costs to help owners maximize the value of their investment.
Successful projects depend on coordination between engineering firms, contractors, manufacturers, controls specialists, and owners. Hunton Trane serves as a technical resource throughout construction, helping resolve field issues, coordinating with installing contractors, and supporting startup to help systems perform as intended.
Our goal is straightforward: deliver HVAC systems that meet the design intent and continue performing for years after occupancy.
Our Purpose: We exist to radically improve the environments in which people live, work, learn, and play.
Our Vision: We envision a responsible future that offers places where comfort, productivity, and well-being are available to all.
Our Mission: By relentlessly pursuing a sustainable future and building enduring relationships, we positively impact the world indoors.
