Our sales engineers complete a rigorous six-month graduate engineering program at Trane corporate headquarters in La Crosse, Wisconsin. There, they learn to apply their design and engineering expertise to turn Trane’s industry-leading equipment and controls into reliable, energy efficient HVAC systems for high performance buildings.
Often projects begin with a Trace 700 or Trane System Analyzer computer study to evaluate alternative products and air conditioning systems based on actual project economics, local energy costs and job-specific, long term life-cycle costs. Many consulting engineers offer such studies as an added service at a modest cost.
The company’s 13 LEED Accredited Professionals (AP) on staff can assist with LEED’s whole-building approach to sustainability by working with interested clients to deliver a building project that meets the highest green building and performance measures.
Once an HVAC system has been selected, Hunton Trane can help with product selection, unit scheduling, controls strategy and pricing.
After the project is bid and awarded, Hunton Trane staff will work with the installing contractor to assure that things at the jobsite go well, that the equipment is properly checked out at start up and that space comfort is delivered as planned.
