Each sales engineer undergoes a comprehensive six-month graduate engineering program at Trane’s headquarters in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This rigorous training equips them with the skills needed to leverage Trane’s cutting-edge equipment and controls, delivering reliable, energy-efficient HVAC systems for high-performance buildings.
We begin many projects with in-depth evaluations using tools like TRACE® 3D, Trane® Design Assist™, myPLV®, Trane® Select Assist™, Trane® /Mitsubishi VRF Diamond System Builder, and myCO2e™. These studies provide a thorough analysis of alternative products and air conditioning systems, factoring in project-specific economics, local energy costs, and long-term life-cycle costs. Many consulting engineers offer these studies as an added service at a reasonable cost.
Our team includes 13 LEED Accredited Professionals (AP) who specialize in guiding projects towards LEED certification. They bring expertise in sustainability and green building practices, ensuring that your project meets the highest standards of environmental performance.
After you’ve selected an HVAC system, Hunton Trane offers comprehensive support, including product selection, unit scheduling, controls strategy, and pricing. Once the project is underway, our team collaborates with the installing contractor to ensure a smooth implementation. We oversee the startup process and confirm that your building achieves the desired comfort levels.
